Apple TV+ | Multi-Show Template & Style Guide

The Problem
In 2023, Apple approached our agency, Be Grizzlee, for a design solution to showcase multiple Apple TV+ shows in a single ad unit, consistent across all digital platforms and displays.

The Solution
I developed a modular tile system, built out as a Photoshop template and accompanying style guide, that could scale to any number of shows and any length of messaging.

The Intricacies
The challenge was in the sheer number of permutations the template needed to support. Every element had to be tuned for the specific size, platform, and display, and refined through rounds of client feedback: margins and padding, headline weight/size/tracking/leading, tile count, sizing, corner radii and padding, and legal-line weight, tracking, and leading.

The Result
The template supports a staggering range of permutations, far more than the examples below can fully capture. This project marked my first time managing a design team, and I'm proud of what we produced. It's genuinely satisfying to still spot ads across the internet today built on the template I helped develop. The examples below showcase the scope and range of the system.

AIRLAB: Airstream's Creative Playground | Social Content

AIRLAB is Airstream's platform for creative expression, a cultural studio built to expand what the brand can mean in culture. From the earliest pitch through to active production, this has been a full-spectrum design engagement: designing the presentation that helped win the business, developing the visual identity system and style guide that defines how AIRLAB shows up across social, and creating the ongoing content that brings the platform to life.

The work spans every layer of the process. Early on that meant translating brand strategy into a coherent visual language: establishing the palette, typography, and design principles that govern everything downstream. From there it moved into content development: ideating recurring formats, building aesthetic frameworks, and producing the individual assets and social posts that populate the feed. Each piece of content demands original thinking, whether that means spatial and technical illustration, AI-assisted image generation with precise art direction, telling compelling stories about our artists-in-residence, or designing within a system rigorous enough to feel like a real creative institution. I’ve touched every piece of this account; from pitch to post.

Amazon | Social Channel Content

At Movement Strategy, I’ve worked across many of Amazon’s social channels — designing, building, and maintaining templates, concepting and creating social content, providing creative and art direction to junior and motion designers, and doing it all with speed and a high degree of precision. My designs and concepts have collectively garnered close to a million likes across Amazon’s socials. Below is a curated assortment of designs and concepts I’m particularly proud of — chosen either for the creativity of the concept, the execution of the design, or for the notable level of social engagement.

When I received the brief for this 4th of July post it was simply a random assortment of red, white, and blue albums in a 4×5 grid. I decided to plus up this concept by rebuilding our grid template to support four times more albums and then collect enough additional albums to organize them into a pixelated US flag. I’m really happy with the end result and the social engagement it garnered.

I’m particularly proud of the uncanny visual parallels I noticed between this scene in Fallout and Jurassic Park. Creating content for Prime Video made me realize that I have an encyclopedic knowledge of TV and movies and it has a real tangible value.

This concept was pitched to our client at Amazon Music Latin without fully accounting for the time and effort required to create multiple pieces of custom movie key art. I managed to rescue the project by generating the initial artwork with Claude and Nano Banana, then quickly retouching everything in Photoshop, completing the task in under a day.

Apple Vision Pro | Performance Banners

During the summer of 2023, I had the privilege of representing my agency at Apple HQ, where I was tasked with developing a comprehensive suite of performance banners to promote the launch of Apple's latest flagship product, the Vision Pro. This opportunity allowed me to showcase my skills and expertise in digital advertising and design.

I received commendation from the client for my professional demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of the project, and keen design sensibility. One aspect that stood out was my willingness to take calculated risks by deviating from the established style guide to create more visually captivating and effective banners. The client not only appreciated this innovative approach but also expressed gratitude for the fresh perspective I brought to the project.

Overall, my experience at Apple HQ was highly rewarding, and the positive feedback I received from the client reaffirmed my confidence in delivering exceptional results while pushing creative boundaries.

Apple Pay | New York City Subway

In this project, I was tasked with overseeing the design execution of two components: a suite of animated DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) placements to be displayed inside New York City Subway cars, platforms, and stations, as well as a suite of static digital performance banners to be served on web and social media platforms across the greater New York City area. The objective of these placements was to promote the convenience of Apple Pay, specifically highlighting the feature that allows users to "tap" their iPhones to pay for subway fares.

I take great pride in this campaign as it allowed me to utilize my background in environmental design to seamlessly transition from 2-dimensional design concepts to real-world implementation. My role was pivotal in facilitating this transition by addressing and clarifying the design flaws outlined in the original brief and devising alternatives. I provided thorough explanations to all involved parties, supported by calculations and technical drawings, to ensure a smooth and successful execution of the final product.

Launch Campaign | Call of Duty Black Ops 6

From May to November of 2024, I was contracted with Activision’s Marketing Creative group to support the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 launch campaign. I supported the campaign by creating a wide range of assets, including beauty shots, social media carousels, out-of-home sports arena visuals, first-party store banners, and more. Here are a handful of the designs I was tasked with executing.
